Welcome To The Clinic

Your full guide to everything we built for you.  Tools, research, education, community, and a mission that gives back.

~9 minute read

If you're new here, welcome.  If you've been part of The Clinic including the old Patreon days, welcome back.

This post is your roadmap to everything The Clinic offers.

What The Clinic Actually Is

The Clinic is a community of regular people learning to invest the right way.  No degenerate gambling or pump and dumps.  Just everyday folks who want to understand their money, build wealth over time, and not get smoked by the market.

Here's the part that makes The Clinic different from every other membership group = 100% of membership profits get donated to kids and schools in our community.  Every dollar that doesn't go to keeping the website functional goes back out to help local students.

So when you join The Clinic, you're doing three things at once:

  • Getting access to professional-grade tools, research, and education
  • Joining a community of investors who actually share what's working
  • Helping the impoverished and kids get a helping hand

It's basically the only investing community I know of where your subscription does something bigger than giving money to someone who doesn't need it.  I've done well myself, I don't need your money.  This whole program is setup to offer a service that benefits both sides.  Those who pay for help with investing education, and those who need the help to pay for a bite to eat.

The Four Pillars

Everything on this site fits into one of four general buckets.  Now to be upfront, The Clinic continues to grow and expand.  Things like the educational curriculum is a large work in progress that will be developed over time.

01

The Tools

Scanners that show you what the market is doing right now.  Where smart money is moving.  Where pressure is building.

02

The Research

Deep dive reports on sectors, themes, and individual setups.  Plain English breakdowns with portfolio plays.

03

The Education

A full investing curriculum from beginner to advanced.  Real numbers, real examples, no jargon for jargon's sake.

04

The Discord

Where the daily action goes down with the community.  Real-time trades, scanner alerts, and conversations.

Each one is powerful on its own, and like Captain Planet, when the powers combine you go from confused to confident as an investor.

Pillar 1 = The Tools

These are the scanners built to give a little edge to the market.  If only it was as easy as buying what you like, the scanners give us insight to where insiders and big money is investing their money.

We have five live tools right now and more coming.  Each one is built to answer a specific question that most retail investors can't easily answer on their own.

Scanner 01 · Live

Squeeze Scanner

The question it answers:  Where is market structure pressure building?

The Squeeze Scanner hunts for short squeeze setups.  It looks at options flow, gamma exposure, short interest, float size, IV expansion, and volume zones.  Then it scores every ticker on a 0 to 100 scale.

When a high-conviction setup emerges, the scanner will show it, and those in the ICU tier get an alert in Discord automatically.  The scanner does the work and tells you when something interesting is happening.

How To Use It
  • Check the top of the daily ranking each morning
  • If an ICU member, watch the Discord alerts during market hours
  • Use it as a starting point for research, not a signal to blindly trade
  • Updates every 30 minutes during market hours
Why This Matters

Squeeze setups happen because of mechanical reasons (forced buying when shorts cover, options dealer hedging, etc).  These are some of the few situations where you can ACTUALLY predict directional moves based on positioning data.  Most retail investors miss these entirely because they don't have the data like The Clinic.

Scanner 02 · Live

Whale Watch

The question it answers:  Where is smart money positioned right now?

Whale Watch pulls data from SEC 13F filings = the mandatory disclosures that big funds (over $100 million in assets) have to file every 45 days.  This is how you see what hedge funds, endowments, and the biggest investors in the world are actually buying and selling.

What You Can Do With It
  • Filter by strategy = value, macro, activist, long/short, quant
  • See AUM (assets under management) for each fund
  • Track position changes = who's adding, who's selling, who's flat
  • See portfolio weight to know how much conviction a fund has in a position
  • Spot trends BEFORE they become obvious

The catch:  13F filings have a 45-day reporting lag, so you're seeing what the whales held 45 days ago, not what they hold right now.  But over weeks and months, you can SEE THE TRENDS = which sectors are getting smart money inflows, which positions are being unwound, which managers are betting big on certain themes.

This is the kind of data that used to cost institutions thousands of dollars per month.  Members get it free with their membership.

Scanner 03 · Live

Congress Watch

The question it answers:  What are committee insiders in Congress investing their money in?

Members of Congress have to disclose their trades within 45 days under the STOCK Act.  Congress Watch pulls these disclosures and shows you exactly what they're buying and selling.

Why This Is Interesting
  • Many members serve on committees that oversee specific industries
  • Their trades sometimes precede major regulatory or legislative changes
  • Tracking patterns can hint at where they think things are headed
  • It's not a guarantee they have inside info, but it's a data point you can use

Congressional trading data is a SIGNAL, not a strategy.  Don't blindly copy a senator's trades, but noticing patterns (which sectors are getting heavy congressional buying or selling) and the size of the trades can help you spot themes worth investigating.

Did You Know

Studies of congressional trading have shown that some members consistently outperform the market by meaningful margins.  Whether that's information advantage or just timing, the public data is the public data.  Use it however makes sense for your strategy.

Scanner 04 · Live

Peter Lynch Scanner

The question it answers:  Which companies meet legendary value criteria AND have bullish momentum behind them?

Peter Lynch built one of the greatest fund records in history at Fidelity Magellan by finding what he called "tenbaggers" = stocks that grow 10x in value over time.  His method was simple but disciplined = find growing companies trading at reasonable valuations, with manageable debt, that you could actually understand.  The Peter Lynch Scanner pulls all that criteria together and flags the names that pass the screen AND show bullish technical momentum.

What You Can Do With It
  • Filter by PEG ratio (P/E divided by earnings growth) = the heart of the Lynch method
  • See debt-to-equity ratios to spot financially healthy operators
  • Check earnings consistency and growth trends across multiple periods
  • Cross-reference value names with bullish momentum signals so you avoid value traps
  • Get full Peter Lynch Reports delivered to Discord (Hospital Admission tier and up)

Lynch's real edge wasn't picking the fanciest stocks on the street.  It was finding boring companies with solid numbers BEFORE Wall Street caught on.  This scanner brings that same discipline to your screen.

Why This Matters

A PEG ratio under 1.0 has historically been one of the strongest predictors of long-term outperformance.  Combine that with bullish momentum and you have a setup that rewards patience and conviction.  Not lottery tickets, but real positions worth holding.

Catalyst Watch

The question it answers:  What upcoming events could move these stocks before the move actually happens?

Stocks rarely move randomly.  They move because of CATALYSTS = scheduled events that change the picture.  Catalyst Watch shows where the calendar, money flow, political activity, insider behavior, squeeze pressure, and chart trend may be coming together.

The goal is simple, and that is to help members spend less time digging through scattered data and more time focusing on the setups that deserve attention.  For members of The Investing Clinic, it becomes a daily prep tool = a way to build watchlists, prioritize research, and catch high-confluence opportunities before they get crowded.

Catalyst Watch tracks every meaningful upcoming catalyst on a rolling calendar so you can position BEFORE the news hits, not after.

What You Can Do With It
  • See upcoming earnings dates and analyst expectations at a glance
  • Use the heat score to see how many confluences are coming together
  • Check FDA or investor day catalysts hitting stocks
  • Check the ticker to see if there's bullish momentum on the chart
  • Easily view whales and insiders that are involved in the stock
  • Filter by sector, market cap, or catalyst type to focus on what you care about

Most retail investors react to news AFTER it hits the wire.  Catalyst Watch flips that around.  You see what's coming and have time to do your research, plan your position size, and decide if you want to make a directional bet or sell premium into the elevated IV that catalysts create.

Pro-Tip

Use Catalyst Watch to create watchlists around your favorite stocks.  Now you will have in one frame the setups where positioning data and event timing combine for asymmetric moves.  This is how you stack the deck.

More Tools Coming

I'm constantly building new tools based on what members ask for in Discord.  If there's something you wish you had, drop it in the suggestion channel and it might end up on the Tools page next.

Current ideas in the pipeline include sector rotation dashboards, earnings flow trackers, and macro condition monitors.  More to come.

Pillar 2 = The Research

If the tools tell you WHAT is happening right now, the research tells you WHY it matters and HOW to think about it.

These are the deep dives I write whenever a sector, theme, or setup catches my attention.  I try to publish 2 to 4 of these a month depending on what's happening in the market.

Recent research has covered:

  • AI Energy = how a single AI data center can chew through electricity equal to 100,000 homes, and what that means for power producers and grid infrastructure
  • Memory = how AI has recast memory chips as a strategic asset in the modern era, and which companies are positioned to benefit
  • Oil = why a chain of refinery incidents has created supply pressure that traditional supply/demand models missed
  • Whale Watch quarterly reports = breaking down what the smart money was doing the past quarter
  • Congress Watch reports = what committee insiders have been buying
  • OpenAI deal restructuring = breaking down what changes in big AI deals mean for the public market

The style:  I try to keep the jargon simplified.  Each report walks through the news, breaks down what's happening, and then gives you a portfolio play with specific tickers I'm watching or holding.

The structure:  Every research post follows a similar format = THE NEWS (what just happened), THE BREAKDOWN FOR US (what it means in plain terms), and THE PORTFOLIO PLAY (specific tickers and how to think about them).

The discipline:  I tell you when I hold positions in something I write about.  I tell you when I'm skeptical or when something is too speculative.  This isn't pump content, but rather insight on my thoughts about real setups in the market.

Pillar 3 = The Education

If you're new to investing or have gaps in your knowledge, the Education curriculum is built for you.

The Clinic will have a full 44-chapter curriculum organized into 11 modules.  The content will be real investing education that takes you from "I've never bought a stock" all the way to "I'm running covered call strategies on positions I built up over years."

Pro-Tip

The Chapter 1.4 Fees post has an interactive fee impact calculator built right into it.  You can slide your starting balance, time horizon, and fee level, and see exactly what a 1% difference in fees does to your wealth over 30 years.  This is the kind of tool that makes financial advisors very uncomfortable.

Pillar 4 = The Discord

If the website is the library, Discord is where the daily action goes down.

This is where members:

  • Discuss trades in real time as the market moves
  • Get scanner alerts the moment they fire
  • Ask questions and get them answered by me and other members
  • Share their own research and trade ideas
  • Vent about losses, celebrate wins, and learn from both
  • Talk about life, careers, and money in general

Investing is quite lonely if you think about it.  A lot of your friends and family probably aren't excited about the markets.  Nobody is talking about sector rotations or the latest whale purchases at the dinner table.

But here at The Clinic Discord, everyone gets it because we are all doing the same thing.  The conversations that happen daily are honestly more valuable than any single research report.  It's a support system, a family.

How To Get Access
  • Become a member at any tier
  • Look for the Discord invite in your welcome email after signing up
  • Or check the "Discord access" post on the site for the current link
  • Set up your profile, introduce yourself, and you're in
The Honest Pitch

Half the value of The Clinic is in Discord.  If you're not active there, you're missing the actual community part.  Reading the research and the education is great, but the conversations are where the magic happens.  Be sure you get in there and participate!

The Community Impact

Here's the part that sets The Clinic apart from every other investing community I've seen.

The Mission

100% of membership profits are donated to kids and schools in our community.

Yup, that's right.  ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of what's left after we cover the operating costs of running the website and tools.  Nobody taking admin fees here.

Members get access to the impact page to see the current projects.  Through 2026, we are raising $50k towards school supply drives for classrooms.

Why this matters to you as a member:

When you pay for The Clinic, you're not just getting tools and research.  You're funding the highest-return investment any of us can make = helping a child get a future, a chance, a shot at a successful life.

Most of us got lucky somewhere along the way.  A parent like my mom working multiple jobs to keep us from being homeless again.  A teacher who believed in us.  A program that gave us a chance.  A scholarship that opened a door.  The Clinic is built to be that door for someone else.

Every member is a part of that.  Every subscription is a small piece of that mission.

One Last Thing

The Clinic is NOT a get rich quick group.  It's not a place to pump and dump or get paid signals.  I am not a guru selling you a course.

It's a real community of people learning to invest the right way with patience and discipline.  The goal is to be educated and invest with a purpose, not degenerative gambling.

If you join us, you're investing in three things at once:

  • Your own financial education = the kind that compounds for decades
  • A community that gets it = people who actually understand what you're trying to do
  • Kids in our community = who get resources because you decided to join

That pretty much sums up The Clinic.  I'm not selling anything, so there's no "limited time offer."  I always maintain full transparency.  If any questions, just ask.

If it sounds like the kind of place you want to be a part of, The Clinic doors are open.

Welcome to The Clinic.

Pick your tier.  Get the tools.  Join the conversation.  And help fund a kid's future while you build your own.
